BASICS PLUS

BASICS PLUS is a series of three classes that shows you the foundation of the Zentangle Method – Basics, Strings, and Shading.  This will support your continued growth.   You will have a deeper understanding of the how you can create beautiful designs using structured patterns.  According to Maria Thomas, co-founder of Zentangle, “its practice ignites a larger charge of creativity that has been dormant within you for too long.”  You will begin to see possible Zentangle patterns everywhere – buildings, cloth, nature.  The possibilities are infinitely exciting.  You will learn many tangles, their subtleties and possibilities.  You will realize that what seemed so complicated before is actually simple, easy and fun!  Surprise yourself.  Choose what days and times that work for you –  Tuesdays or Wednesday  If something comes up, there is flexibility in changing dates or going into the next session.   Email if you want more information on those.

BASICS Class will teach you a few simple patterns, techniques and how to relax and appreciate this art method.  This is the beginning of your Zentangle journey.  Wednesday, Mar 3, 1-3 or Tuesday Mar 9, 3-5

STRINGS Class is where you will learn the origins of the Zentangle string, how to create strings and how to use them.  Wednesday, Mar 17, 1-3 or Tuesday March 23, 3-5

SHADING is what I call the Magic of Zentangle where you will see your designs become 3D   Shading tips and techniques are going to really give your creations the WOW factor!!!  Wednesday, Mar 31, 1-3 or Tuesday, Apr 6, 3-5
