Breakthrough was inspired by the changes brought about when I performed at Asheville’s Diana Wortham Theater, my out-of-the-box leap of faith. My art broke through the many, many years of dormancy after that.

Commitment
Commitment is very special because it ended a dry spell of many months. The inspiration came during a daily walk. I wanted to create a special piece of art for my friends’ upcoming wedding. The original was done on hot pressed water color paper with water colors and water color pencils in colors to go with their décor and penned their names and wedding date in the heart. I copied the inked version so a variation of the original could be created with colored pencils.

Congratulations
Congratulations was born at the suggestion of Kelly McKibben, www.Good Yoga.com. I love how it organically expressed itself from the tip of my pen using zentangle patterns that called out to be shown off in a new and interesting way.
